A town seemed like
the right place for a shop and we thought we
would save people the hassle of driving out to
the farm to pick something up for supper and so
we introduced the Organic Convenience Store. The
summer of 2004 saw the opening of our smart new
shop in the centre of town.
After a complete
refurbishment to the premises, we have brought
the best of real organic food to the High Street
for those smaller daily and mid-week shopping
trips, or perhaps a tasty snack during your
lunch hour.
Riverford goes to Town has
a classy image, selling a smaller, select range
of products from Staverton. RGTT is the first of
hopefully a few more High Street shops in a
similar vein in other local towns - and judging
by it's success so far, we seem to have got the
formula just right.
Receiving daily
deliveries from Staverton, if the shop doesn't
have something you want, we can generally order
it in for you. Carrying an excellent selection
of meat, poultry, dairy, fruit, vegetables and
delicatessen you can be always sure of finding
something for supper! (and the perfect bottle of
wine to go with it). Louise and the team know
their products inside out, and have an excellent
rapport with customers old and new.
Opening Hours: Currently Monday -
Thursday from 9.30 am to 5.30 pm and Friday to
Saturday 9 am to 5.30 pm. Closed on Sundays.
